Product Usage

Plating Pt/Ti anode is widely used in seawater cathodic protection. Plating Pt/Ti anode has excellent chlorinated property, variable size, light weight, suitable for ocean operation. Pt/Ti anode was prepared in acidic bath which main salt is two nitroso diamine platinum, and the electrochemical performance of Pt/Ti anode in artificial seawater was tested. The surface of the Pt/Ti electrode is bright, the coating and the matrix are bonded firmly, the coating thickness can up to 5-10um, the electrochemical performance is stable in the artificial seawater, the consumption rate is 6.0225mgA, a. Plating PT/Ti electrode is easy to make, the thickness of the coating is controllable, size is variable, weight is light, suitable for seawater operation.

Standard Specification

The purity of Ti should not less than the requirement of Grade 2 in table2 of ASTM B265, the chemical composition of platinum layer should meet the requirements that the purity not less than SM-Pt99.95 of GB/T1419-2004
